Terms of Service

By creating an account, entering, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is for your personal, non-commercial use only.

The Service is strictly for adults aged 18 or older. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 18. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use the Service. At signup you provide your date of birth and must pass a facial age-estimation check before using the Service, and identity verification is additionally required to upload photos or access explicit content (see the Privacy Policy). If we learn that a user is under 18, we will terminate the account, and we may report and preserve information as required by law (see the Privacy Policy and Section 4). Misrepresenting your age, or facilitating a minor's access, may result in a permanent ban and referral to law enforcement.

Read this section carefully.

• No screening. We do not conduct criminal background checks on users. We verify age at signup and require identity verification for photo uploads and explicit content, but we do not otherwise verify users' statements or the accuracy of their profiles, and verification of an account holder does not guarantee who appears in a photo or who you are talking to. Profiles and photos may be inaccurate or fake.
• Your decisions, your risk. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, online and in person. You assume all risk when communicating with, sharing content with, or meeting other people. Meet in public, tell someone where you are going, and use your judgment.
• Location risk. The Service shares an approximate, fuzzed location to enable nearby discovery. Although your exact coordinates are never transmitted or stored (your device offsets your position before sending, and our servers offset it again), no location-based feature is risk free, and a determined observer may still approximate a general area. You can widen your privacy radius in settings, and you can stop sharing location by disabling it, which turns off discovery features.
• No guarantee of safety. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user. We provide safety tools (blocking, reporting, reply and keyword filters) but we cannot guarantee they prevent harm.

You agree not to, and not to help anyone else:

• Upload, share, or solicit any content involving a minor, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This is absolutely prohibited and will be reported and preserved as required by law.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, dox, extort, blackmail, or invade the privacy of any person, including capturing, saving, or redistributing another user's images or private information without consent.
• Share non-consensual intimate images, or threaten to share intimate images, of any person.
• Impersonate any person, misrepresent your age or identity, or create accounts for anyone else.
• Use the Service for commercial purposes, advertising, solicitation, sex work transactions, spam, or to promote illegal goods, services, or acts.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-collect data or images from the Service; reverse engineer the Service; circumvent rate limits, security, or access controls; or use any automated means to access the Service.
• Use the Service, or any data or content from it, to train, fine-tune, or develop any machine learning or AI model or dataset.
• Upload malware, interfere with the Service, or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Account-level enforcement decisions are made by a human reviewer (see the Privacy Policy, automated moderation section).

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload (photos, profile text, messages). To operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify for technical purposes (such as resizing and stripping metadata), display, and distribute your content solely to provide and operate the Service. This license ends when your content or account is deleted, except for copies retained as the Privacy Policy describes (for example anonymized records, safety holds, or backups for a limited period) or as required by law.

We do not pre-screen all content and we do not monitor every message. We may, but are not obligated to, review, moderate, or remove content. We assume no liability for user content.

We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice with the elements required by 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3) to our designated agent at [designated DMCA agent, once registered]. We will remove or disable access to infringing material and will terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

• As is. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of [USD amount pending] or the amount you paid us in the [12] months before the event giving rise to the claim.
• Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by us.
• Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, for risk to other users, or as required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (content license limits, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification) survive.

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will provide reasonable notice and update the effective date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [state / country pending], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where local consumer law requires otherwise.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any policies referenced in them, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any prior agreements on that subject. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
